JORDON – CARRI

“This work is about perception.”

“It speaks to that difference in perception of the subject versus an outside observer. These specific works, which are part of a bigger concentration, are about my transgender friend Jordon and the way that Jordon sees himself versus the way that his parents see him. Jordon sees himself as a trans-masculine person and his parents still view him as their only daughter.”
