YOU’VE SEEN BASICALLY EVERY YOUTUBER (BEAUTY GURU OR NOT) DO IT, BUT NOW WELCOME TO THE PEOPLE OF MULTI MAGAZINE TALKING ABOUT THEIR BELOVED FAVOURITES- MAY EDITION!
My fave beauty product is definitely the Mask of Magnaminty from Lush. Not gonna lie, it kinda burns the first time your use it. But it’s a nice, cool, peppermint-y burn. There are little chunks of ground aduki beans in it to help brush off the yuck from a day of being fabulous as well as more than enough peppermint oil to help your skin feel refreshed, rejuvenated and looking bright AF. I love it especially around this time of year because it just screams SPRING!! Also, its green. Win-win? I think yes!

I am in love with Diamond crusher in the shade acid fairy by Limecrime. I really like experimenting with different lipsticks, and this one is my new obsession. It sparkles and makes you feel like a fairy (as the name suggests). Besides using it as a lipstick, I’ve many other uses for it; a highlighter and an eyeshadow. These multipurpose uses makes this product both fun and functional. For the warmer season, it’s a unique way to incorporate pastel spring colors into your makeup.

Can we all take a moment to sit? Seated? Good. Over the month of April and into May I have come into possession of the Bioelements starter kit for oily skin (sidenote; yes, I have oily skin and if you want to learn more about that check out this article https://multimagsite.com/2017/03/28/keep-your-oils-in-check-the-best-foundations-for-oily-skin/#more-2517) Now this little pack has been a lifesaver for that and keeps all my pesky pimples as subdued as possible. I love everything in the kit from the cleanser specifically for my oily skin, the gratifying mist toner that just feels oh so nice, the scrub for days I feel like I really need a deep clean, and the beyond hydration moisturizer that I only use as a night cream and boy does my skin feel plump after. Anyway long story short I love this pack and even though it is $$$ I would call it worth it.
My fav beauty product this month has GOT to be my elf concealer!! I’ve been breaking out so much this month because of stress & changes of seasons and everything so this stuff has been my SAVIOR. It goes on so smooth and stays on forever!! Plus!! It was only $2 so woohoo elf!

OIL PULLING. Anyone who has been within a 30-foot radius of me within the last two weeks has heard me rant about this. I take around 1.5 teaspoons of coconut oil and kind of swish it around like mouthwash for 20 min in the morning before I’ve eaten/drank/brushed my teeth. I only use pretty mild toothpastes (because the cruelty-free ones happen to be really gentle and non-abrasive), so this really helps to keep my teeth strong and white. It’s pretty gross the first few times, but definitely worth consistent use.

My water bottle is my best friend and my biggest beauty hack. I don’t wear makeup, I don’t use any fancy lotions, and I buy my shampoo from Costco. As the weather warms keep my water bottle filled and by my side at all times. Water is the best health hack out there and literally everyone knows that. It helps keep skin hydrated and clear, keeps energy levels up, and helps keep your body on track. So as spring turns to summer and the temperatures keep rising, my water bottle my May favorite.
